Our Centers of Excellence program provides intensive physician training at select hospitals across the country. These immersive sessions allow physicians to observe live PTAB cases with the DETOUR™ technology. A perfect opportunity to gain practical experience from experienced physicians.

Dr. Ramaiah is a vascular and endovascular surgeon with more than 25 years of experience. Dr. Ramaiah fulfilled his vascular fellowship under Dr. Edward Dietrich at the Arizona Heart Institute. He served as the Medical Director and Director of Vascular Surgery during his 20 years at AHI.

Dr. Ramaiah is a world-renowned expert in the treatment of peripheral arterial disease, aortic aneurysms, carotid artery disease, and venous disease. He has authored over 80 peer-reviewed publications as well as numerous textbook chapters. He continues to be actively involved in clinical research as the Principal Investigator of several ongoing studies. Dr. Ramaiah served as Chief of Complex Vascular Services at HonorHealth and is currently the founder of Pulse Cardiovascular Institute, the first cardiovascular outpatient surgery center in Scottsdale, Arizona.

What is the COE program?

The COE program is a one-and-a-half-day educational experience focused on the safe and effective use of the DETOUR™ system. The program combines didactic instruction with live PTAB case observation to support real-world procedural understanding.

Facility credentialing requirements may require participants to submit documentation prior to attendance. Endologix maintains a list of COE site requirements and will provide details to confirmed participants in advance.

PTAB with the DETOUR™ System is a percutaneous alternative to open lower-limb bypass for patients with peripheral artery disease (PAD) who:

  • Have long femoropopliteal lesions (20–46 cm)
  • Can include patients with chronic total occulsions (100mm to 425 mm) or diffuse stenosis >70%
  • Sub optimalcandidates for bypass surgery
